Extruder screens in woven wire mesh are specially processed to withstand high pressure and heat, and are fabricated in superior quality stainless steel wire for optimum performance and durability. A wide range of sizes and forms is available to meet most requirements. Circular screens are made singly or in pre-configured multi-layer packs and multi-mesh screens are also offered in plain-dutch and twilled-dutch hollander weave for special applications. As well as circular screens we also manufacture multi-layer cylindrical screen packs and filter discs in a variety of sizes and shapes. Wire mesh of various grades is also available by the sheet or roll. The requirements of all types of plastic and rubber extrusion company are met at an affordable price with speedy delivery.

Manufactured in India using modern German technology, our filter discs meet the most exacting of quality standards but cost significantly less than equivalents manufactured in Europe. Lead times for standard sizes are often shorter than for European suppliers and Seltek will arrange the supply of sample screens so that you can order with confidence. We ship direct from our factory in India to you the customer using Federal Express or equivalent so that delivery is often faster than if you bought from a domestic supplier.

  • Diameters range from 6mm to 1000 mm, uniformly cut by specially developed power presses to avoid uneven edges
  • Closely controlled, accurate apertures and smooth surfaces for consistent performance
  • Self supporting and stable under tension - suitable as support for less rigid media

MULTILAYER SCREEN PACKS

  • Available in any size and combination of meshes either bound or spot welded
  • Assembled in proper sequence to eliminate operator error and for ease of handling
  • High physical and chemical resistance and superior mechanical strength
  • Spot welding reduces the possibility of "blow by" of material and prevents loose wires entering the flow of polymer
  • Packs include heavier mesh to sit against the breaker plate for support of the lighter mesh

  • Multimesh screens are mainly used in the production of BOPP film, woven sacks, PET and non-woven fabrics although their superior performance is making them more widely used across a wide range of applications
